In DISCO, all employees conduct various activities to increase the feeling of solidarity in the organization, based on the belief that a vibrant corporate atmosphere is a critical factor for increasing the enjoyment of work and expanding the potential of employees.
Enhancing the quality of relationships is an important topic, as it not only increases job satisfaction, but also increases the performance of the organization. DISCO holds presentations that can be participated in by all employees every month on activities to increase the quality of relationships. This encourages the cross-deployment and vitalization of these activities.
At DISCO, we believe that improving the “Quality of Relationships” among employees is important for increasing employee motivation. In order to encourage “Quality of Relationships,” DISCO implemented a system in fiscal year 2015 that allows all departments to use company-owned lodges (Tateshina Lodge in Nagano and Warahino Lodge in Hiroshima). This system promotes mutual understanding among members of the same department through discussion and study sessions held in a setting that differs from their usual work environment.
DISCO holds internal athletic meets every year to determine the top athlete in the entire DISCO Group in technical, sports and gaming events, deepening the interactions between employees.
Exchanging greetings indicates an 'Intent of friendship' and vitalizes the organization. At set intervals, employees reflect on whether they have shown 'Excellence in Greetings' in order to shorten the gap between themselves and the people around them, achieve true bidirectional communication, and create good inter-personal relationships.
